Field Station Exhibits

Located in The Presidio of San Francisco, a recently ordained national park. The Field Station is situated at the base of the Tunnel Tops project which connects the historic Presidio with Chrissy Field and the Golden Gate.

The child-focused exhibit is designed around the concept that spatial complexity and intimacy stimulates curiosity and joy. The multi-level wooden armature extends itself within the building shell like an oversized cabinet of curiosity, creating a landscape of spaces for hands-on interaction and discovery of the bounty of riches sourced from within the Presidio grounds.
