Cavi Borgo
Situated on a low ridge overlooking the Liguria’s Gulf of Tigullio, this rustic farmhouse sits stoically amid sea of olive trees. Abandoned for 20 years, the home is being lovingly renovated to maintain its monolithic quality and character. The solid masonry walls will remain while the mid-century concrete roof will be replaced with a traditional timber and slate.
Ground level French doors will extend the livable areas to the East and West outdoor terraces and cooking areas, with a linear concrete pool further afield.
The muted colors of the project are taken from the teal, cream, and orange palette of the local geology.
