Designed in collaboration with Monica Viarengo Landscape Design, this roof terrace was designed to offer an elegant and cloistered dining experience above the sunny and vibrant street scene below. Paved with large custom concrete tiles, the terrace is punctuated by large industrial skylights and succulent and gravel planting islands. The dining area is defined by large diamond-shaped tables of marble and steel bracketed by custom built-in benches of cypress wood slabs. A tensile steel pergola and sunshade structure lined with varying shades of blue polycarbonate provide a visual and acoustic buffer from the neighbors while offering a colorful backdrop to greens and yellows of the planting palette.
