Treviso University

A small private liberal arts university with an auditorium, common spaces, lecture halls, and on-campus housing.  The two wings of the project, housing and university functions, are pulled to the extremes of the site and straddle a historic villa and garden.  The larger-span components of the project are concealed under a landscape forms while the repetitive program components such as housing, offices, and small lecture halls are contained within linear bar elements.  The space between the forms become social nodes accentuated by a timber curtain wall which echoes the bucolic nature of the site.
