To be used as a retreat for a large Toronto family, this project transforms an existing 19th century 50-acre farm compound into a place of both solace and entertainment.

Project elements include renovation and addition to the barn and stone farmhouse, a guest house, pool, tennis court, car shelter, and yoga hut. Every attempt is being made to modernize the functionality of existing buildings and design new structures using a unified formal language and material palette which complements the history and nature of the site.
